Jessie Cleary

I’m Jessie Cleary and I’m excited to be returning to GEMS Metropole this year for the fifth year.

I have taught Upper KS2 for the past six years and have also worked supporting inclusion in a primary setting for the five years before that. I strongly believe that every student should have the opportunity to be their best, which I believe involves promoting social and emotional skills alongside developing academic skills and knowledge. I set high standards which I aim to achieve through providing supportive learning environments to achieve challenging tasks, where all students feel comfortable to share their ideas and try new strategies. I endeavor to develop independent, thoughtful and creative learners that enjoy taking on new challenges. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking cakes and walking mountains
