Junior School

We believe that everyone can be leaders, promoting leadership in a range of capacities whether it be leading their own learning or leading others.. 

GEMS Metropole Junior school focuses on student voice and building confidence in our students preparing them to become global leaders. Through opportunities created within the junior school, students are given the skills and opportunities to be confident leaders and learners supporting them transitioning to the prep school, senior school and beyond, focusing on public speaking, performing arts, languages and literacy skills.   

Within the Junior School students confidently develop leadership skills such as communication including speaking, languages, and written communication as well as presentation skills both digitally and through written and oral communication.  

GEMS Metropole Junior school ensures that student voice and student decision making is at the forefront of their own learning as shown through:  

• Elective student choice for Spanish and French.

• Optional qualifications such as The Pupil Leadership Award. 

• Opportunities to lead within the community - Such as Eco Leaders, Student Council and Junior DoE.
