Inclusion Specialist Teacher
My name is Jennifer Lovett and I am thrilled to be joining the Inclusion Team at Metropole. I believe our role, as educators, is a privilege and I am committed to identifying each and every child’s strengths to ensure that I provide them with experiences, skills and knowledge to become independent learners throughout their journey within education, and beyond.
My passion for inclusion began when I supported a child in Key Stage 2 in the UK. Together, we removed barriers to learning and participating and made every activity and experience accessible.
My original degree is in Speech and Language Therapy. My studies provided me with an invaluable insight into early child development, communication and relationships, which I believe is fundamental to giving every child the mindset to want to learn and achieve and become the best version of themselves.
In the UK, I taught in Key Stage 1, joined the leadership team as SENDCo and led an outstanding Early Years Foundation Stage Team. I love adapting my practise by providing multi-sensory and creative ways for learners to engage, have fun and be the best they can be.
This will be my second year in Dubai since moving here with my husband and 2 children. We are very active and love swimming, playing at the beach and exploring the UAE together. We are delighted to be joining the MTS family and are really excited about the year ahead.
