Edward Staton

Ed is our Vice Principal, Academics. He joins us from Yorkshire where he lived for the last 20 years and where he has recently been the Principal of an all-through school in Leeds.

 

Ed joins us with  a wealth of experience across many successful educational settings throughout the UK. Ed completed his PGCE at Bath University and quickly progressed into senior leadership where he developed his skills in strategic school development.

 

Ed has worked in successful senior leadership teams and on local authority projects for over 15 years. In  that time he has improved academic outcomes and ensured positive destinations for students of all abilities and starting points. He has worked to further his academic knowledge by travelling to Australia and Sweden to explore how different school environments impact positively on creativity and learning. 

 

Ed’s inclusive background complements our vison to Inspire, Lead and Exceed our Potential. He believes successful students need to take risks, be self-reflective and creative whilst being fully immersed in an inspirational learning environment. Ed is determined to ensure our student continue to Grow, Flourish and Succeed.
