Swimming Coach
Hello, my name is Ace and I’m excited to be part of the PE team here at GEMS Metropole as a Swimming Coach. My background is in teaching swimming to a wide range of learners, from young children taking their very first strokes to adults looking to build confidence in the water.
My own journey with swimming started after I experienced two near-drowning incidents as a child. Those moments shaped my passion for water safety and inspired me to dedicate my career to helping others develop essential swimming and survival skills. Over the years, I’ve taught learn-to-swim classes, survival swimming in the UAE Armed Forces, and worked with more advanced swimmers, always focusing on building confidence, safety, and enjoyment in the water.
Outside of school, I love being in the water myself, whether it’s scuba diving, spearfishing, or continuing to develop my skills as a coach. I look forward to sharing my passion for swimming with our students and helping them not only improve as swimmers, but also gain confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for the water.
