Robert Phillips
Head of Inclusion
My name is Robert Phillips, and I am thrilled to join GEMS Metropole as the Head of Inclusion. As a dedicated SEND leader, I am deeply committed to transformative leadership and continuous improvement in education. My primary focus is on enhancing outcomes for both children and schools, ensuring that every learner has the opportunity to thrive. With a meticulous and results-oriented approach, I have successfully directed inclusion initiatives, managed diverse teams, and developed innovative educational strategies in dynamic environments.
Having spent the last 10 years in Dubai, I have gained extensive experience across various educational and clinical settings, allowing me to understand the unique challenges and opportunities within the region. Previously, I served as a Director of Inclusion across three outstanding schools, where I developed and executed comprehensive strategies to enhance educational access and services for students of determination. More recently, as an Education Advisor, I focused on creating strategic plans for alternative education and supporting leadership in decision-making and policy development.
