Samreen Shah

With over 32 years of experience in education, Ms. Shah brings a strong blend of classroom expertise and middle leadership to the Local Advisory Board. During her eight years at GEMS MTS, she has served as a Science Teacher, Head of Year, Parent Ambassador Liaison, and Student Leadership & Events Coordinator. These roles have strengthened her understanding of both the academic and pastoral dimensions of school life at GEMS MTS.

Before joining GEMS, Ms. Shah served as a national and school trade union representative in Scotland, where she developed valuable skills in policy analysis and constructive dialogue. This experience now supports her contribution to the school’s strategic direction.

Ms. Shah is passionate about fostering a supportive and inclusive school community and remains committed to helping GEMS MTS continue to provide an inspiring and nurturing environment for students, staff, and parents alike.
