Chloe Coleman
Head of Foundation Subjects & Head of Moral, Social and Cultural Studies
My name is Chloe Coleman, and I am excited to be teaching for the fourth year at GEMS Metropole as a Primary School teacher in Year 3. I attended the University of Roehampton in London where I earnt my Primary Education degree with a subject specialism in Religious Education.
I have been teaching for seven years, and in this time I have had the pleasure of teaching wonderful pupils and developing positive working relationships with the families in my class.
I am a teacher who is passionate about her pupils and their progress as my aim is to create lessons which engage and enthuse my pupils, so that they want to strive to achieve their potential.
I am a firm believer in child-led enquiry and encourage the pupils in my class to explore their ideas and interests at any opportunity.
I try to make my classroom a place of support and inclusivity, where every pupil feels seen and heard. As a teacher, I am fully committed to developing my practice and providing a rich curriculum that meets the needs of all.
Outside of teaching, I am a keen traveller and love to experience new cultures. I am also an avid reader, and through this, I try to create a culture of reading for pleasure within the classroom.
I am very much looking forward to the year ahead and getting to work with your children, in what I am sure will be a successful year with lots of amazing learning opportunities!
