Stuart Wilson is Assistant Headteacher of Secondary at GEMS Metropole, with a primary focus on the Futures School. With extensive experience in teaching and leadership, Stuart is dedicated to ensuring that students are well-prepared for their next steps through high-quality teaching, robust academic support, and a strong pastoral framework.

Holding a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Stuart brings a strong academic background alongside his leadership experience. Previously Head of Science, he has played a key role in developing and implementing strategies that enhance student progress and attainment. His work in curriculum development and assessment has contributed to improving outcomes across the Futures School, ensuring that all students are supported in their academic journey.

Beyond academic achievement, Stuart is passionate about creating an environment where students feel motivated, challenged, and well-equipped for post-16 education and future careers. He works closely with staff to drive high standards of teaching and learning while fostering a culture of aspiration and success.
