Kaye Pospere
Combat Coach
My name is Mr. Prospere and I am from England, UK. I am very excited to be joining GEMS Metropole as a Physical Education teacher, taking on the role of leading combat sports across the school.
Academically, I studied at the University of Bedfordshire, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Physical Education, a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status and a Master’s degree in Sports Performance.
During my teaching career I have worked in a variety of school settings, leading both sports and combat programs, promoting inclusive participation. My teaching philosophy centers on developing students to take autonomy of their learning through guided discovery and self-evaluation. I believe that learning is most meaningful when students are actively engaged in the process of uncovering concepts for themselves, with thoughtful support and direction.
I have close to 20 years of experience in boxing and combat disciplines, winning Amateur boxing championships and an English Title as a professional, whilst teaching and instructing others at regional and national level. I am passionate about harnessing the power of sport to develop discipline, resilience, and confidence in young people.
At GEMS Metropole, I am eager to build a comprehensive combat sports program that is inclusive, empowering, and aligned with the school’s vision for holistic development. Whether students are new to sport or aspiring athletes, my goal is to help them grow in confidence, develop leadership skills, and foster a lifelong love for physical activity.
It’s a privilege to join such a dynamic and forward-thinking community, and I look forward to contributing to the continued success of the PE department and wider school culture.
