Director of Performing Arts
My name is Miss Megan Hodge and this is my first year at Gems Metropole as Director of Performing Arts. I am excited to bring my passion for Performing Arts to life through classroom teaching, productions, competitions and events. I completed a Bachelor of Dance and PGCE at Edge Hill University. I have been teaching in the UAE for 8 years, specializing in Dance from KS1 – Year 13.
My aim is to ensure students can access Performing Arts to build confidence in everyday life situations and allow them to grow as individuals. I am passionate about creating opportunities to showcase students' talents within Performing Arts. I hope to lead a dedicated team of teachers and students to achieve an outstanding PA department.
In my spare time I like to travel and see the World, being exposed to different ways of life and cultures. I also love to listen to music, visit the theatre to watch Musicals and socialize with friends.
