Mr Matthew Burfield is the Principal of GEMS Founders School and Founder School Group Leader, overseeing GEMS Metropole, GEMS Founders Al Barsha and GEMS Founders Al Mizhar
Mr Burfield has held a number of leadership positions in England, Greece and the UAE, and has overseen the highly successful establishment and development of GEMS Founders School from September 2016. The school currently has over 3200 students and, under Mr Burfield’s leadership obtained a GOOD rating in its first inspectio
Mr Burfield is also an experienced Penta BSO School Inspector
GEMS Metropole joined the Founders group of schools in May 2019.
