Shazia Maskati, a dedicated and ambitious student, thrives on challenging boundaries, pursuing excellence, and making a positive impact on the world around her. As a Sixth Form student, she is currently studying A-level Maths, Further Maths, English Literature and Business Studies, as she aspires to pursue a career in Actuarial Science. 

In addition to her academic pursuits, Shazia actively contributes to the school community in various ways. As the Finance Manager of the school's very own Farm Shop and her participation in the Youth Kickstart programme, she exemplifies her enthusiasm for personal and professional growth. Shazia also plays a crucial role in the organization of the Model United Nations at Metropole (MTSMUN), showcasing her leadership skills and dedication to fostering global awareness. Her commitment to making a positive impact extends to her involvement in the Charities and Philanthropy Club at school, where she actively contributes her time and efforts to organizing fundraising events and initiatives. Having been a student at Metropole for seven years, Shazia feels incredibly honoured with the opportunity to serve as Head Girl in order to give back and support the Metropole community in any way she can. As a passionate and driven advocate for student empowerment, she is eager to channel all her energy into representing every student's voice, whilst ensuring that any needs or concerns are heard and addressed.
